Welcome to our charming house, where simplicity meets comfort. This unfussy abode features five double bedrooms and six twin rooms, perfect for families and friends seeking a cosy retreat. While it may be more traditional than fancy, it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Enjoy the laid-back and the timeless character that this old house has to offer.
Special features
Experience the warmth of inviting log fires and the elegance of a grand staircase in this traditional house. Three of the bedrooms feature exquisite mahogany four-poster beds. There is a cosy living room a TV for relaxation, and a separate large drawing room perfect for gatherings. Enjoy a snooker room complete with a full-sized billiard table, and a 36-foot heated swimming pool maintained at a comfortable 26 degrees - provided the cover is used after each swim! Unwind in the eight-person sauna after a long country walk. Let the children enjoy the playroom, which is filled with a selection of toys and a full-sized table tennis table.
The Grounds and local area
The gardens surrounding the house contain many species of rhododendron and trees, some over 300 years old. Fishing is available on the two lochs, in season, and we have fishing rights on both. Fishing for salmon and sea trout can be arranged on a daily or weekly permit basis at reasonable cost from Ardgour Estate.
Playroom
The dedicated playroom features a variety of toys and games, making it an ideal space for children and young people to enjoy themselves. It also features a table tennis and football table, providing fun for everyone.

There is a snooker room, a spacious sitting room with an open fire, color satellite TV, and a video player. A children's play room, swimming pool, and sauna are also available. The large well-equipped kitchen includes two electric cookers, a microwave, two dishwashers, two large fridges, a freezer, a washer, a dryer, and a seating area. There is one twin-bedded room, a bathroom, and a separate WC.
First floor
Drawing room featuring an open fire, a Hi-Fi system with a CD player, and seating for twenty-two. Includes three bathrooms, two equipped with showers. There are two twin bedrooms and three double bedrooms furnished with mahogany four-poster beds.
Second floor
Two double Bedrooms. Three twin Bedrooms. One Shower-room. One Bathroom with shower. One separate WC.
