Location

Ardgour House situated in one of the most attractive parts on the West Coast of Scotland, famed far and wide for its mountain scenery and coastal landscapes.  Approximately a mile to the west of Corran Ferry, it is within twenty minutes drive of Fort William, the principal town in the area, and approximately two hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh.  Communications are therefore good, but privacy remains unaffected with the House set within a traditional blend of wooded policies and parkland. There is a lovely beach 1.5 miles away, and hotel 1.5 miles. The nearest shop is in Strontian 12 miles away. Or for a larger shop there are several supermarkets in Fort William.

Getting Here By Road

Approximately eight miles south of Fort William on the A82, cross the Corran Ferry and turn left. Ferries run every 30 mins from 0645 until 2130. After half a mile, turn right, sign-posted Clovulin, and shortly after the school and village hall, turn right again through a air of grey iron gates into the main drive to the House. Alternatively continue on A82 through Fort William. Then take A830, signed for Mallaig. Turn left at Kinlocheil onto A861 and continue to Ferry. Directions as above.

Getting Here By Public Tranpsort
